Life
1807-1880 [prob. William]; rector of St. George’s Church, Belfast; classical and English scholar, and member of Linen Hall Library Board; wrote poetry, Death Conquered and Other Poems (1842); Mary, the Factory Girl (1845); A Vision of Italy, a poem; Heotha and Melech and Other Poems; and The Thistle, The Rose, and Shamrock; ed. Lyra Hibernica Sacra (Belfast 1878; 2nd edn. 1879).
