?- ; retired naval officer; son of Protestant Archbishop of Dublin; author of Yours Till Ireland Explodes, Mr Mooney (1973), and Yours Again, Mr Mooney (1974), both published by Blackstaff Press; the title-character is thousand year-old leprechaun who has fought on both sides of the Irish wars and who hasn’t had a bath since the day that ‘Deirdre of the Sorrows accidentally put him in with her smalls’.
