Life
1897-1989; b. Kent, dg. of coastguard; resided in holyhead; stayed in Dublin with aunt and uncle; ed. Dublin Metropolitan Art School; attended Royal College of Art, London, 1921; worked as glass painter in harry Clarke’s studio; took up teaching roles in Fermanagh schools; taught William Scott and T. P. Flanagan, who proceeded to Belfast Art School; admired by John Hewitt; there is a life has been written by her niece Carole Froude-Durix.
