Letters of a Great Irish Landlord, selection from the estate corres. of 3rd Marquis of Downshire 1809-1845, ed. W. A. Maguire (Belfast 1974). The Downshire estate in Hillsborough was the venue of Henry Cooke’s great meeting against Repeal in 1829. It is now the home of the Anglo-Irish Agreement offices.
