Catriona O’Reilly, reviewing Erratic Behaviour of Tides (1998), with others, in The Irish Times [30 Jan. 1999] notes an ‘evident
gift for aphorism’ and a ‘gentle, whimsical wit’ in poems such as “Transactions” and “Restorers v. the Ceiling Vandal” or The Snow Queen in Spain” and encourages the poet to develop beyond the ‘elusive shades of feeling’ that she mentions in the collection.
