Philadelphia Packet, 1771, the first daily paper in America, later known as North American and United Sates Gazette; as printer to Congress, he printed Declaration of Independence; subscribed £4,000 to Washingtons army, and served as an officer bodyguard; wrote letters home to Strabane; d.
