Life 1969- ; b. Castledawson, Co. Derry; issued childrens novel series, The Pineapple Tart (1992), A Soft Touch (1993), and The Dolly Holiday (1994) [all pub. Poolbeg]; also Kissing the Frog (Dublin: Poolbeg 1996), set in an Ulster town and dealing with the progress of two young women; moved to the Middle East; married, with four children; lived in Africa; returned to publishing after ten years with Cinderellas Sister (Poolbeg 2007), relating the lives of very different twins, the narrator Francesca and the her sister Camilla, set partly in Botswana; issued Enchanting Alice (2008), dealing with babies, sex and eccentricity in rural life.
