Betsy Gray
Life ?1770-1798 [Elizabeth; properly Grey]; carried a green flag for the insurgents at battle of Ballynahinch, 13 June, 1798; and subject of the novel by Wesley G. Lyttle, Betsy Gray (1888); her grave became a site of nationalist pilgrimage and was destroyed by Loyalists early in the modern Troubles. DIB DUB
