Cork; Bhuí branch of OLeary, former land-owners; under the
patronage of the MacCarthys; related to Art OLeary, the folk hero,
and the 18th c. poet Donnachadh Dall Ó Laoire; author of Cath
Cheim an Fhia [The Battle of Keimanegh dealing with clash between
local militia and the Whiteboys in 1822; evicted in 1847; moved with husband
James Burke to live with son Micheal; bur. at Inchigeelagh Churchyard.
