1883-1964 [var. Ó Siochradha; pseud. ‘An Seabhac’]; b. nr Dingle, Co. Kerry, ed. by the Christian Brothers, joined Gaelic League and worked as a teacher and organiser [tigire]; Irish Volunteers, interned 1918-22; Irish Free State civil service appointments; senator in 1932, and ed. of the Educational Company of Ireland.
