1828-1898; b. Cork; dg. Amos Varian and s. of Ralph Varian; m. George Sigerson, 1865; contrib. to Harp, Cork Examiner; Irish Fireside, The Gael, Young Ireland, and Irish Monthly; mother of Hester Sigerson [Piatt], Dora Sigerson [Shorter], as well as the boys William and George, the first of whom died in childhood and the second in young manhood; d. Dublin; bur. Glasnevin.
