Safari Cycles; coopted to Dublin City Council, 1998; elected for South Dublin, 2002; went forward for Presidency, 2004, but withdrew when Mary McAleese affirm intention of re-standing; re-elected 2007; established Green Party TD for South Dublin and Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, 2007, withdrawing from the coalition with Fianna Fail, 23 Jan. 2011; failed to be re-elected for S. Dublin, Feb. 2011.
