1925- ; b. 24 Jan., Ovens, Co. Cork where he still lives and farms; writes poetry strictly in traditional forms, Clashemure Skyline (Dublin: Dolmen 1970) being in couplets; Interrogations (Cork: Tower Books 1975); Shades of a Rural Past (Cork: Tower Books 1975); also “A Nation Once Again?”, a full page of poems in New Irish Writing, ed., David Marcus (Irish Press: [q.d.]), each poem devoted to a different Irish ‘hero’ from Brian Bóroime to Sarsfield, Davis, &c.
