Author of “The Painter Cut: A Vision”, appearing in The Irish Magazine or Asylum of Neglected Biography (July 1810) over his occcasional pseud. “Orellana”, for which Watty Cox was prosecuted for sedition; paid Cox £300 to offset damages; later MP for Kilkenny; m. sister of Daniel O’Connell.
