Author of memoir, Over the Mountain (Michael Joseph 1996), which includes a Derry childhood and teacher-training; a disappointment in love in Ballybeg, Co. Donegal; her ‘big break’ in the band scene; high life in Dublin, pregnancy and removal by parents to Derry, where her baby is handed over for adoption after six weeks; played bits parts in The Avengers; script writing for BBC children’s TV; launched the Bite and Barque in London; much travelled; now divorced; living in London; planning remaining books of trilogy as Over the Sea, then Over the Moon.
