The following slides were original compiled in support of a centenary lecture given by Bruce Stewart at the Federal University of Rio do Norte on 4 May 2014 and later augmented into a “mini-curso” on James Joyce - the second on James Joyce given by me at the University - embracing the Dubliners stories and a chapter-by-chapter over-view of Ulysses given in the same teaching period at the same University.
